Karl Bruening currently serves as the Director of Reliability and Asset Management at Skookum since August 2024. Prior to this role, Karl held a notable position as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Alaska Army National Guard from August 2008 to September 2024. Karl's extensive experience includes serving as Vice President of Business Intelligence & Innovation at Chugach Government Solutions, LLC, from June 2018 to June 2024, and formerly as a Senior Manager for CSRA Inc, where responsibilities included directing programs from inception through completion. Karl also has a background in management and operations within various organizations, including Computer Sciences Corporation and General Dynamics Information Technology. In addition, Karl earned an MBA from Grand Canyon University and a BS from Seattle University, complemented by training at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
