About
This award-winning facility presents classes, activities, camps, performance and shows in music, theatre, dance, visual arts and circus arts. The center also houses early childhood enrichment programs and culinary arts classes. The Skokie Art Guild, Devonshire Playhouse, Thin Ice Ensemble Theatre and the state-licensed Devonshire Preschool call this facility home. Arts partners such as OROT Producers, The Musical Offering and The Skokie Concert Choir also visit us for workshops and performances. Rentals, art partnerships and a variety of art-related birthday party options are also available.

How we work
Our purpose
The Devonshire Cultural Center to provide a creative and educational space that fosters the arts and enriches the community through a wide range of programs and events. It offers classes, activities, camps, and performances in various artistic disciplines, including music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and circus arts. Additionally, the facility supports early childhood enrichment and culinary arts programs. Home to local arts organizations and partnerships, it serves as a hub for cultural expression and community engagement, offering workshops, performances, and art-related events. It also provides rental spaces and unique options for art-themed birthday parties.
What makes us unique?
Special Events throughout the year include the Devonshire County Fair, fall teen and adult musical performances, cultural culinary events, a December dance performance, a winter adult play, Renaissance Faire, Young Performers musical, spring dance performance, Preschool Prom, summer adult musical, summer dance recital, and multiple art shows during the year.
