Dakar L. currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs at SKDKnickerbocker, a position held since August 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Production Coordinator at El Rey Network, focusing on the production of the show Maria!, and serving as Communication Director for the U.S. House of Representatives, where the role involved maintaining relationships with cable show producers. At Dewey Square Group, from April 2013 to November 2019, Dakar L. was a Senior Associate managing a substantial client portfolio and media strategies while acting as a bilingual spokesperson. Additional experience includes involvement with various political campaigns and organizations, including the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, CREDO SuperPAC, and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Dakar L. holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
