Karen Tan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the construction and transport sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Skanska since March 2023, Karen previously held a similar position at Ferrovial Construction from January 2014 to February 2023. Karen's career also includes roles as Senior Associate at Transport for London from September 2006 to January 2014, and as Associate at Allen & Overy from September 2001 to September 2006, starting as a Trainee at Bevan Brittan LLP from September 1999 to September 2001. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Construction Law from King's College London, a Legal Practice Course from the University of the West of England, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol. Early education was completed at Camp Hill VI School for Girls.
