Maikel van Riel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and inspection within the food and catering industries. Currently serving as an Inspecteur Levensmiddelen/Bereiding at Skal Biocontrole since March 2017, Maikel conducts audits to ensure compliance with EU organic regulations for companies involved in the import and trade of organic food and feed. Previous roles include being a board member for Popkoor Vocal Invention, a Senior Consultant/Auditor/Trainer at Hospitality Consultants, and Manager Quality Assurance & Product Development at Dishcovery Catering Company. Educational qualifications include lead auditor certification in ISO 9001-2015 and bachelor's degrees in Nutrition and Management as well as Nutrition and Dietetics from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.
