Elies Lemkes-Straver currently serves on the board of several organizations, including the Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek SIA, Skal Biocontrole, and Verus, as well as on the Supervisory Board of Design Academy Eindhoven. In a leadership role, Elies is also the Chairperson of the Advisory Committee for the Action Plan Growth of Organic Production and Consumption at the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. Previously, from May 2020 to September 2023, Elies held the position of Vice Governor in Noord-Brabant, overseeing various portfolios such as Agriculture & Food and Health. Additional experience includes roles as Lector at HAS and CEO of ZLTO, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration. Elies's educational background includes a Drs in Social Geography with an economic specialization from Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht.
