Lisa Rechden is a National Security and Government Contracts Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates since December 2024. Previously, Lisa served as an Adjunct Professor in Government Contracts at American University Washington College of Law and worked as a Government Contracts Associate at Wiley Rein LLP. Lisa has extensive legal experience, including serving as Chief Legal Officer at Crumbs & Whiskers, where focus areas included employment law and corporate structuring. Additionally, Lisa held significant positions within the United States Air Force, notably as Chief of Civil Law and Operations Law, overseeing a team and advising on procurement matters and compliance. Lisa's early legal internships included experience with the U.S. Department of Justice and the FCC, as well as participation in the Guantanamo Bay Military Commission Observation Project. Lisa holds an LL.M. in National Security and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Psychology from DePaul University.
