Mark Fulton-Jeavons is a seasoned IT professional currently serving as IT Manager at the SKA Observatory since February 2023, where responsibilities include enhancing SLA performance and implementing a follow-the-sun service desk to improve the average resolution rate. Prior to this role, Mark spent nearly a decade at the BBC, progressing from Operations Engineer to Senior Service Manager, overseeing IT catalogue maintenance, automation process improvements, and leading a team of engineers. Mark's experience also includes a Connectivity Internship at GE Healthcare, a Data Entry Operator role at McCann Manchester, and service industry work at Principal Hayley Hotels and Conference Venues. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications and Networks from Birmingham City University.
