Daniel Berlin is currently a Principal at Sixth Street, specializing in Credit Market Strategies since May 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Senior Analyst at Elmwood Asset Management from November 2019 to May 2024 and held similar positions at Phoenix Investment Adviser, LLC from April 2018 to October 2019, focusing on high yield and distressed credit investments. Daniel's experience also includes working as a Research Analyst at GoldenTree Asset Management and in distressed credit and special situations at Credit Suisse from July 2013 to March 2017. Earlier, Daniel was an Analyst at Elm Ridge Capital Management managing a long/short equity hedge fund and began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Daniel earned an MBA in Finance and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
