Andrea Bown is a seasoned professional in educational content development and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) reviewing. Currently serving as a DEI Reviewer at Newgen Publishing UK and as an Editor/DEI Reviewer at Agate Publishing, Inc., Andrea has performed comprehensive DEI reviews across various educational materials, including textbooks and assessment items for different levels. In addition to writing powerful content for organizations like The Herstorian and Westchester Education Services, Andrea is experienced in creating culturally responsive educational content and lesson plans. An alumnus of The Ohio State University with a Master's degree in Language Arts, Literature, and Reading, and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Andrea integrates DEI principles into educational resources across K-12 and higher education.
