Alex Chen, Ph.D., is a graduate of the Communication & Information Sciences doctoral program at the University of Hawai’i, where his dissertation research focused on web search behavior and human factors. He holds two Masters degrees from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU and SUNY Stony Brook, in Computer Science and Management respectively. Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor at the College of Management at Yuan-Ze University in Taiwan and enjoys leveraging his knowledge of statistical research when conducting quantitative studies. His research interests include human-computer interaction and usability studies, web information searching, information systems management, and e-Business.
