Nicole is interested in the design’s ability to reveal cultural narratives and enhance the story of place. While at SITELAB, she has worked on various multidisciplinary projects in the Bay Area and at different stages of the design process: from community collaboration and urban design visioning to crafting submittal documents for city approval. She has led the public realm design on a mixed-use project situated on a culturally significant boulevard in West Oakland, worked on the urban design visioning and community-focused processes for a 80-acre mixed-use project in San José, and collaborated on design-build pop-up parks and community collaboration in East Palo Alto.
Nicole holds a Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters in Landscape Architecture. Nicole was nominated as an Olmsted Scholar in 2017 through the Landscape Architecture Foundation and received a ASLA Student Honor Award the same year. Prior to joining SITELAB, Nicole has worked in offices in St. Louis and San Francisco.
