As a back-end web developer, Alex builds the internal parts of websites that make them do all the things you’d like them to do. He works on API development and integration as well as WordPress plugins and libraries.

Before coding was his day job, Alex worked 17-hour days as a baker for a local catering company. Now he just makes biscuits for fun.

Alex has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington with a focus on cyber security and cryptography. His passion is to help bridge the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and STEM-A fields.
