Turgay POLAT currently serves as a member of the Şişli Municipality Council since April 2024. Prior to this role, Turgay POLAT was affiliated with Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi for over a decade, holding positions as Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Corporate Communication Director from October 2011 to December 2023. Turgay POLAT also contributed as a writer for Posta.com.tr and as a columnist for Karar Yayıncılık between 2016 and 2018, as well as worked as a journalist at Aksam Gazetesi from 2007 to 2015. Turgay POLAT holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Bahçeşehir University (2008-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on psychological counseling from Marmara University (1989-1994).
