Richard Gausden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cost analysis, project controls, and management within the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Sirius Analysis Limited, Richard has previously held prominent positions including Team Leader & Senior Cost Consultant at QinetiQ, where management of a 15-person team was a key responsibility. Richard's background includes significant roles as Head of Cost Engineering and Operations Manager at BQ Solutions QSTP-LLC, and as a Senior Cost Engineer at the UK Ministry of Defence, where negotiation and pricing of Defense contracts were prominent duties. Richard's career began as an Engineering Apprentice, evolving through various quality inspection roles and culminating in over three decades of service with The Army Reserve, attaining the rank of Captain. Educational qualifications encompass multiple certifications in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Stroud College of Art & Technology and specialized training from RAF Brampton and the Ministry of Defence.
