Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently, Chris is focused on designing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices, having previously worked as a Firmware Engineer for the same products. Before joining SMART Technologies, Chris held the position of Electronics Contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities included electronics design and repair for educational devices. Additionally, Chris served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting engineering labs and assessments. Prior experience also includes working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where Chris developed control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
