Dieter Baekelandt is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in strategic human resource management across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Human Capital Officer at Siraj Finance since April 2024, Dieter has previously held roles including Head of HR Strategy and Talent at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and Sr. Director of HR for the Eastern Hemisphere at Parker Wellbore. Dieter's career began at Schlumberger, where responsibilities included managing global HR projects, directing HR operations in the Nordics, Central Asia, and for the Global IT function, as well as overseeing shared services across Europe and Africa. Dieter holds a Master's degree in Political Sciences from Ghent University and has furthered education in International HR Management at King's College London.
