Meunier Paul-Louis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1983, they worked at Thomson-CSF as the Head of the Research Department, leading a team focused on Hi-Density Recording for Mass storage Data. During this time, they achieved significant advancements in the field, including the deposition of Carbon NanoLayers on magnetic sensor arrays and the realization of an Integrated Isolator for Semi-Conductor monomode Laser.

In 1993, Meunier joined Thomson Consumer Electronics as the New Products and Services General Manager, a role they also held at Thomson SA and later at Thomson Multimedia. Meunier played a key role in the development of new products and services in the multimedia and consumer electronics sectors.

In 2006, Meunier co-founded Visumotion and served as the Director Visumotion- Industrial Director until 2008. Meunier then joined 3DInternational as the Director of Industrial and Business Development for the MEA region until 2013.

Since 2013, Meunier has been working at siOPTICA as the SVP Industrial Partnership.

Prior to their industry roles, Meunier worked as a Professor at the Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie, teaching courses in Physics related to Civil Engineering, Building, and Architecture.

Paul-Louis Meunier has a diverse education history. Meunier started their academic journey in 1974 by enrolling at the Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Civil-Mechanical and Building Engineering. Meunier completed this program in 1977.

Afterwards, in 1977, Meunier attended CentraleSupélec, where they earned an Ingenieur SUPELEC (ESE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Meunier remained at CentraleSupélec until 1979.

During the same period, from 1978 to 1979, Meunier also enrolled at the Université Paris-Saclay, where they pursued a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in Solid State Physics.

More recently, in 2017, Meunier joined Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics. Meunier completed their doctoral studies in 2019.
