Melvin Scott has extensive work experience in the field of materials testing and laboratory operations. Melvin is currently working at Sintavia as the Director of Laboratory Operations, where they oversee the operations of the laboratory. Prior to this role, they worked as a Site Manager at Sintavia.

Before joining Sintavia, Melvin worked at Metcut Research Inc as a Testing Specialist from August 2018 to June 2020. At Metcut, they specialized in conducting various tests and experiments.

Melvin Scott has a diverse educational background in engineering. Melvin first attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College from 2006 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at Miami University from 2013 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, Melvin attended Ohio University from 2020 to 2021, where they completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Operations Management. Additionally, Melvin has obtained a certification in MET-Manufacturing CNC, though the institution and the specific time of obtaining this certification are unknown.
