Karen Moberg has a diverse work experience that started as a Student Research Assistant at Kansas State University in 2000, where they performed general lab operations and various lab techniques. Karen then worked at Lexicon from 2001 to 2011, where they produced target vectors for the creation of knockout mice, was highly experienced in purifying DNA plasmids, and researched the targeted locus and proposed strategies for the knockout. Following this, they worked as a Principal Research Associate in Immunology at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2011, where they performed a variety of in vitro experiments and in vivo studies to study immune function. From 2012 to 2023, Moberg worked at Baylor College of Medicine as a Senior Research Assistant. Presently, they are a Laboratory Manager at the Center for Bioprocessing at Sino Biological, Inc.
Karen Moberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from Kansas State University, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001.
