Jana Paju

Researcher (Natural Climate Solutions) at Single.Earth

Jana Paju has worked in various roles since 2009. In 2021, they began working as a Researcher (Natural Climate Solutions) for Single.Earth, where they are working to protect nature by making carbon removal and biodiversity tradable. In 2020, they became a Learning Engineer for Area9 Lyceum, where they are transforming STEM knowledge into granulated learning materials and providing feedback and solutions. In 2018, they worked as an Educator for Energy Discovery Centre/Energia avastuskeskus, where they collaborated with teacher-trainers and universities to develop educational programmes. Also in 2018, they worked as a Physics Teacher for Tabasalu Ãœldgumnaasium, where they managed a team and inspired them to aspire for personal growth. In 2009, they founded Leegilausujad, where they built fire sculptures and fire danced with fire fans, poi, and staff. In 2018, they were an Intern for The Henryk Niewodniczanski Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, where they designed additional equipment for material analysis. In 2016, they were a Lecturer for TTK University of Applied Sciences, where they lectured and gave practical lessons on mechanics and electromagnetism. Also in 2016, they were an Educational Specialist for Energy Discovery Centre/Energia avastuskeskus, where they communicated with schools and teachers and developed new workshops and educational materials. In 2012, they were a Lecturer for Tallinn University of Technology, where they lectured and gave practical lessons in bachelor and masters level. In 2015, they were a Junior Researcher and Visiting Lecturer for Tallinn University.

Jana Paju has a long history of education in the field of Physics. Jana received their Bachelor's degree from Tallinn University in 2010, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) degree in 2012. Jana then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the same university, which they completed in 2021.
