Nicholas Kan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in disaster management, project leadership, and pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as the Assistant Director (Response Readiness) at Singapore Red Cross since February 2012, Nicholas has held various roles, including Senior Disaster Management Specialist and National Disaster Coordinator for Central District, contributing significantly to disaster response training and curriculum development. Previously, Nicholas worked as a Laboratory Technologist and Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National University of Singapore, supporting laboratory operations and research projects. Nicholas holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, alongside other relevant certifications and degrees from prestigious institutions, including the National University of Singapore and Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health.
