Vadivu Govind possesses a diverse background in academia and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as Affiliate Faculty for Empathy at Work at Singapore Management University, Vadivu has previously held the position of Director at Inner Wealth and founded Joy Works. Additionally, Vadivu has contributed as a Research & Communications Volunteer at the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women and served as Asia Representative and Member Societies Manager at World Animal Protection. Vadivu's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences and Arts in Social Work and Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
