Kenneth Benoit is the Dean of the School of Social Sciences at Singapore Management University and a Professor of Computational Social Science. They previously served as the inaugural Director of the Data Science Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science and held leadership roles at Trinity College Dublin and various editorial positions in prominent political science journals. Kenneth is a recognized expert in applied data science and social science research methods, and they have been instrumental in developing open-source software for natural language processing, notably the quanteda packages for R. They earned a PhD in Government from Harvard University.
