James Boyd is a seasoned communications executive with extensive experience in public relations, currently serving as Vice President of Public Relations at Singapore Airlines since June 1999. In this role, James has successfully led regional communications for the airline and is responsible for strategic initiatives, media relations, social media, retail publicity, product launches, crisis communications, and message delivery training. Prior to Singapore Airlines, James held the position of Director of Public Relations for the Americas at Air New Zealand from 1995 to 1999, overseeing communications and media relations for the USA and Canada. Earlier career experiences include roles as Senior Account Executive at SZM Communications and Public Relations Coordinator at Hilton Worldwide. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Southern California.
