Basile Van Cooten has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data mining. Basile started their career as a Data Miner intern at Fullsix Group in 2015. Basile then interned as a Computer Vision Intern at Fotonower, where they gained experience in CNN and geometric transformations.

In 2016, Basile joined Sinequa, where they have held various roles related to machine learning. Basile started as a Research and Development intern in machine learning, and later became a Machine Learning Architect. Currently, they serve as the Machine Learning Tech Lead. The exact end dates for their roles at Sinequa are not provided.

Basile Van Cooten holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Basile then pursued an Engineer's degree in Mathematical engineering and Computer Science at Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 2012 to 2015. Later, they attended Ecole normale supérieure from 2015 to 2016 for their Master of Visual Arts (MVA) degree in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
