Mirza Hasan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, currently serving as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC) since September 2019. Mirza has led the finance and planning department, successfully achieving the company's first-ever Project Completion Date, facilitating a dividend disbursement of approximately USD 50 million. Notable accomplishments include the development of a PKR 25 billion funding plan for mine expansion and the creation of a comprehensive 5-Year Corporate Plan to enhance profitability and cash flow for shareholders. Prior experience includes roles at Engro Fertilizer, where Mirza served as Deputy Manager and Finance & Planning Analyst, contributing to strategic initiatives such as LPG cost reduction and analysis of IPO challenges. Mirza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
