David Clingen has extensive experience in various roles within the manufacturing and workforce development sectors. Currently serving as a Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator and Production Worker at Simpson Door Company since January 2020, David previously held the position of Secretary-Treasurer at IAM Woodworkers Local Lodge W38 from July 2015 to January 2020, where responsibilities included financial management using Intuit QuickBooks. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as an Associate at Amazon and as a Peer Outreach facilitator for displaced workers seeking new employment. David’s earlier career at Olympic Panel Products LLC lasted nearly 18 years, culminating in the role of Lead Person/Jitney Driver. Educationally, David obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology from Centralia College in 2018 and an earlier Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the same institution in 1984.
