Rebecca Zavin is a highly experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at SimpliSafe since October 2023. Prior to this role, Zavin was the Senior Vice President of Software at Sonos, Inc. from November 2021 to October 2023 and Vice President of Software Engineering at Palo Alto Networks, where significant contributions included the development of a wifi mesh system for enhanced cybersecurity. Zavin held key positions at Essential as CTO and Board Member, and at Google, where involvement spanned various teams including Google X, Robotics, Android, and Platforms. Zavin earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Engineering from Brown University.
