Ted Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Ted has held various financial and leadership roles in different organizations.
From 2020 to the present, Ted served as the Chief Financial Officer for The Simplex Group, a trucking services company. In this role, they restructured the finance function, developed and led the company's strategic planning process, established competitive quotas and bonus programs for the sales department, and directed the organization to increase productivity and improve margin.
In 2021, Ted became a Board Member at ConnectUs, where they focus on placing relationships at the foundation of people management through their employee relationship management tool.
From 2017 to 2020, Ted was a Member of the Board of Advisors at Bionuclear of Puerto Rico, Inc., a clinical diagnostic company. Ted used their expertise to provide insights and guidance to help the company succeed.
Ted also has experience as a CFO/COO Advisor in a self-employed role from 2019 to 2020, where they communicated, engaged, and interacted with shareholders, board members, and the executive leadership team to improve overall operations of a consumer products company.
Prior to that, Ted held senior finance leadership roles at Nuance Communications, Jarden Consumer Solutions, E. & J. Gallo Winery, and HP. Ted demonstrated their financial and operational expertise in these positions, leading teams, executing acquisitions, and driving growth and profitability.
Ted began their career as a Staff Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1987.

Ted Gonzalez completed their education in a chronological manner. Ted first obtained their High School Diploma from Colegio San Jose in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, from 1978 to 1983. Following this, they attended the University of Dayton from 1983 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting. Ted then advanced their education by attending the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance & Operations. In addition to their formal education, Ted acquired a certification in Mergers and Acquisitions from Columbia Business School in December 2021.
