Christian Baillet has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Christian is the Co-founder and CEO of SimpleVisa, a position they assumed in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amadeus IT Group for over two decades, holding various senior positions such as Senior Vice President Airlines, Director Airline IT Sales Asia Pacific, and Regional Director Multinational Customer Group Latin America. During their time at Amadeus, Baillet achieved significant business growth, tripled revenue in the Asia Pacific region, and oversaw the retention and development of multinational customers in Latin America. Before joining Amadeus, they worked at Irisbus as a Product & Marketing Manager and Director of Sales City Buses - Germany. Christian also served as the Sales Administration Manager at Irisbus and as the Commercial Manager at Elf Oil Switzerland. Baillet has a strong background in business development, customer acquisition, team leadership, and value creation.

Christian Baillet attended ESCP Business School from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business. In 2014, they enrolled at IESE Business School for a senior executive program; however, the end year for this program is not specified.
