Jean Brooks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational leadership and community advisory roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Make Studio Baltimore since January 2010 and as a Member of the SPARK Community Advisory Council at the Simons Foundation since August 2017, Jean has a strong background in governance and advocacy. Previously, Jean was a Member of the Board of Directors for Information for Families from 1990 until October 2018. Educationally, Jean holds an MPhil in Anthropology from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, an MA in International Political Economy from Columbia University SIPA, and a BA in Political Science from Amherst College.
