Colby Silver currently serves as the Senior Grants Manager for the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director and Research Programs Officer at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research from March 2018 to March 2023, and Coordinator/Assistant to the Chief for the UN OCHA covering the Horn of Africa and Southern Africa from June 2017 to March 2018. Additionally, Colby held the position of Program Assistant in the Office of the Assistant Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations at the United Nations from September 2016 to June 2017. Early career experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at The New School and internships with UNDP and Maltepe Belediyesi. Colby holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in History & Conflict Studies from Marlboro College, along with a French Language certificate from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
