Anderson de Andrade is a PhD student at Simon Fraser University since June 2021, with previous experience as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Wattpad from July 2017 to June 2021, where research focused on user preference models and content discovery optimization. Prior to Wattpad, Anderson worked as a Research Engineer at VerticalScope Inc., implementing network analysis algorithms and enhancing natural language processing tasks. Anderson began a career in data science at Terapeak and held a research internship at BlackBerry, focusing on intrusion detection and authentication models. Earlier experience includes over nine years as a Software Engineer at Web Lab and Tecnologia Digital Avanzada TDA, developing various web applications and data platforms. Anderson holds a Master of Science in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Networks and Communications from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro.
