Charlotte Trumble is an experienced editor and literary professional with a comprehensive background in publishing and scouting. Currently serving as a Commissioning Editor for Science Fiction and Fantasy at Simon & Schuster UK since September 2023, Charlotte previously held various editorial roles at Penguin Random House UK, including Editor, Assistant Editor, and Editorial Assistant at Doubleday from December 2018 to September 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a Literary Scouting Executive at Daniela Schlingmann Literary Scouting Ltd, freelance proofreading and reading, and internships that provided insights into editorial processes and event preparation. Charlotte's foundational education includes a MA Undergraduate Honours Degree in Classics and English Literature from the University of Glasgow.
