Maurice Butler is an accomplished banking executive with extensive experience in community banking and customer-focused solutions. Currently serving as the Community Regional Executive at Simmons Bank since June 2022, Maurice leads a regional Community Banking Team and oversees various banking divisions, including Business, Retail, Private, and Mortgage Banking. Previously, Maurice held senior roles at First Horizon Bank as Senior Vice President, focused on client solutions, and IBERIABANK as SVP in both Retail Market Management and Business Banking, where a Business Banking Group was established. Earlier positions include Retail Banking Executive at Trustmark Bank and various roles at Regions Bank, spanning from Management Associate to Consumer Banking Executive. Maurice holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has completed programs at Georgia State University, the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School, and the Barret School of Banking.
