Wenhui Jia has worked in the tech industry since 2000. Wenhui began their career at Brooktrout Technology as a Sr DSP Engineer, where they worked on DSP firmware for TRxStream media processing platforms using TI C54x DSP. In 2006, they moved to Cradle Technologies as a Sr Video Architect, where they developed a network video surveillance system using a multi-core CT3616 MDSP chip. In 2008, they joined Dolby Laboratories as a Staff Engineer Software, and was later promoted to Engineering Manager and Sr Engineering Manager. In 2019, they moved to BYTON as a Sr Manager Imaging Software, and in 2020 they joined GN Group as a Lead Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Sr Principal DSP Engineer at SiMa.ai, where they work on the company's machine learning platform.

Wenhui Jia received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China between 1987 and 1992. Wenhui then received an MS in Electrical Engineering from the same university between 1992 and 1995. Lastly, they received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000.
