Arlene Adamson ICD.D is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. Since June 2011, Arlene has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Silvera for Seniors, advocating for seniors and driving a compelling vision and trusted brand. Previously, from 2001 to June 2011, Arlene held the position of Chief Operating Officer at YWCA Calgary, where significant financial improvements were achieved and internal alignment was enhanced. As Director of Fund Development and Communications at YWCA Calgary, Arlene dramatically increased annual philanthropic donations from under $100K to over $3M. Arlene's earlier career includes roles as National Manager of Corporate Development at the Canadian Cancer Society, where a national philanthropic program reform led to increased fundraising, and as Manager of Revenue Development at the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, overseeing community initiatives and engaging the board in revenue development efforts.
