Wendy Zielke, RN, BSN, SME, currently serves as an Anesthesia Evaluation Registered Nurse at Silver Cross Hospital since February 2010, specializing as a Subject Matter Expert in Cerner software development and contributing to the design and implementation of computerized charting for Surgical Services. Wendy has also held the position of Surgical Nurse and Team Leader for the Neurosurgery & Spine Surgery team at Silver Cross Hospital. Prior experience includes serving as Operating Room Manager and Charge Nurse at a confidential company from May 2004 to May 2009, where responsibilities included materials management and precepting new hires, as well as working as an Operating Room Nurse specializing in Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital from 1998 to December 2005. Wendy obtained a BS in Nursing and Psychology from Elmhurst University between 1997 and 1999.
