Tim Tran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim began their career at Curtin University in 2008 as a Student before moving on to work as a Research Assistant. In 2011, they transitioned into a Sessional Staff Teaching role at the university. After their time at Curtin University, Tim joined RCT – The Advantage of Smart Technology in 2013 as a Market Research Analyst. Tim later became a Commercial Analyst and remained with the company until 2019. Currently, Tim works at Silverchain Group as a Commercial and Market Analyst since August 2019. In November 2023, they took on the additional role of Commercial and Business Improvement Lead.

Tim Tran completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance from Curtin University during the period of 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Economics and Finance from Curtin University of Technology from 2010 to 2011.
