Barry Robbins currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where the focus is on supporting the institution's transition to an R1 research university. With extensive experience as Managing Partner at Silver Bear Solutions LLC since 2017, Barry offers interim CIO and CTO leadership and consulting services across various industries. Previous roles include Director of Technology at Shaw Industries, where modernization efforts of complex multiplatform systems were led, and Director of Technology at The Home Depot, focusing on resiliency issues and budget responsibilities. Barry has also held leadership positions in government and other major corporations, including IBM, where significant customer relationship management and turnaround strategies were implemented. Barry holds a PhD in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and has earned an MBA from Wake Forest University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida State University.
