Carl Hylin is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in semiconductor process modeling, software development, and propulsion system performance analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Development Engineer at Silvaco Inc since April 2021, Carl has previously held significant roles including Senior Manager at Lam Research, where management of a software development team was key, and earlier as a Senior Development Engineer at Silvaco Inc, focused on physics-based simulation models. Extensive experience also includes positions at Software and Engineering Associates, University of Nevada Reno, Data Engines/Spydor.com, Norkons Consultants, and Aerojet Rocketdyne. Carl holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and has multiple advanced degrees in the field from prestigious institutions.
