Jennifer Urdan is a seasoned investor, trusted advisor and financial services executive with extensive experience in global investing and corporate finance. In addition to serving on the SVCF Investment Committee, Jennifer serves on the California State Teachers’ Retirement (CalSTRS) Board and the Marin Community Foundation Investment Committee. She is also an investor with Broadway Angels and is active in a number of volunteer civic engagement roles. Jennifer is a former managing director of Cambridge Associates, a leading investment consulting firm to institutional and private investors. She advised and led the firm’s work with some of the world’s largest institutional investors, public pensions, endowments and private clients. She has deep expertise in all aspects of global portfolio management and investing, including asset allocation, alternative investments, ESG considerations and governance. Jennifer was named in Chief Investment Officer’s ranking of the 25 most influential advisors in the institutional investment universe and she frequently presents at industry conferences. Previously, Jennifer was a senior member of the Private Capital Group at Robertson, Stephens & Co., a leading technology and health care investment bank, where she raised equity for growth companies. Before that, she was a corporate finance investment banker at J.P. Morgan in both New York and San Francisco. At JPM, she led work with corporate clients in the U.S. and Asia across a range of industry sectors and transaction types. Jennifer received an A.B. from Stanford University.
