Alex Morgan has had diverse work experience in various industries. In 2017, they worked as a Lab Assistant at Western University. The following year, they joined Sanofi Pasteur as a Product Quality Co-op Student, where they were responsible for managing communication and analyzing data to improve vaccine production. In 2019, Alex worked as a Research Internship at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on designing micro-reactor models for circular economy biogas farms. They then returned to Western University as an Undergraduate Researcher before joining Sanofi Pasteur again in 2020 as a Project Specialist. In this role, they supported performance excellence initiatives and developed reporting programs and dashboards. Their most recent role is at Silfab Solar Inc. as an Associate R&D Engineer, starting in October 2021.

From 2015 to 2020, Alex Morgan attended Western University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Green Process Engineering.
