Alessandro Giussani is a highly experienced Staff Epitaxy Engineer at Silanna Semiconductor, specializing in the epitaxial growth and characterization of compound semiconductors for nanoelectronics and optoelectronics applications since January 2021. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, focusing on plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition of nanocrystalline diamond thin films, and a series of postdoctoral and research fellow positions at notable institutions where expertise in molecular beam epitaxy of various materials was developed. With a Ph.D. in Physics from Universität Osnabrück and a Master’s degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano, Alessandro Giussani has demonstrated a strong academic and professional foundation in semiconductor materials and fabrication techniques throughout a career spanning over two decades.
