Rachel Owyeung is a Senior Application Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel served as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Lab Manager at Tufts University from September 2016 to February 2023 within the Tufts Nano Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Rachel completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering at Tufts University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego. Additional experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Lipomi Research Group for Advanced Energy Technologies, a Biosensor R&D Intern at Biolinq, and a Project Coordinator Intern with the Alliance to Save Energy. Rachel also has experience as a House Advisor within John Muir College Residential Life and as a Sales Associate at Triton Outfitters.
