Leo Rozendaal is a seasoned system architect and connectivity specialist with extensive experience in the lighting and television industries. Currently at Signify since May 2018, Rozendaal has played a pivotal role in launching Philips Hue accessories and leads the standardization team for Matter. In addition, Rozendaal serves on the Steering Committee and as an Alternate Director for the Connectivity Standards Alliance, contributing to specifications and test plans. Prior to Signify, Rozendaal spent nearly three decades at Philips Lighting Research, focusing on connectivity for TV interconnectivity and developing innovative video systems. Rozendaal also represented Philips in HDMI standardization and contributed to military simulation technologies early in the career at TNO. Rozendaal holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
