Juan Manuel Perero Codosero is an experienced professional in speech technologies, currently serving as the Speech Technologies Manager at Sigma Cognition since March 2022, where management and supervision of the Speech Technologies Team are key responsibilities. Prior to this role, Juan held the position of Head of Speech Analytics Technologies at Sigma Technologies Global from November 2013 to February 2022, overseeing the development of AI solutions in various applications, including audiovisual content indexing and voice-based health disorders analysis. Juan's early career includes a role as an R&D Research Assistant, where significant contributions were made to the development of Sigma's Speech Recognition system. Juan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
