Louie Zhang is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Sift since 2020, focusing on machine learning systems for fraud detection and utilizing technologies such as Java, Scala, Python, and various data processing tools. Prior to Sift, Louie was a Staff Engineer at a Stealth Mode AI Startup, contributing to a platform for distributed machine learning across edge devices. Louie also served as a Senior Data Engineer at Peerspace, a marketplace for renting unique spaces, and as a Data Scientist at LinkedIn, where support was provided to the talent solutions business line. Louie holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago and has completed a study abroad program at Renmin University of China.
