Matt Benchener is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Managing Director of Vanguard Personal Investor since August 2008. In this role, Matt oversees client experience, advisory services, business strategy, and operations for a division that provides comprehensive investment solutions to millions of individual investors. Previous positions at Vanguard include Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Client Service and Operations, and various strategic roles. In addition to Vanguard, Matt has served as a Board Member for SIFMA since November 2023 and was Vice-Chairman of Newtown Township from 2009 to 2014. Matt holds an MBA with honors in Finance from The Wharton School and a BA with honors from The Johns Hopkins University.
